This schedule is available to customers where service is supplied to a residential dwelling for single-phase service under provisions of the City's Ordinance Section 27-112.

The minimum monthly bill/customer charge shall be $7.20.
In addition to the charge based on monthly rates as computed above, the total monthly charge for service shall include applicable sales taxes and an in lieu of gross receipts tax payment equal to 7.5268% of the monthly rate charge. Sales taxes shall be applied to the total of the monthly rate charge and the in lieu of gross receipts tax payment.
The fuel adjustment rider applies to all kWh consumption billed on this schedule.
When the customer has permanently installed a minimum of 5 kilowatts approved electric space heating equipment which is the sole source of comfort heating — decorative fireplaces excluded — for the areas to be heated, the rate per kWh for the non-summer season will be 9.44 cents per kWh for the first 750 kWh and 8.04 cents per kWh for all remaining kWh.
High Efficiency Heat Pumps
For customers having a permanently installed heat pump, which is the primary source of comfort heating and which confirms to the special rules and regulations outlined in the Department Rules entitled"Heat Pump Rules and Regulations," the monthly rate per kilowatt hour billed during the non-summer season shall be 9.44 cents per kWh for the first 750 kWh and 7.568 cents per kWh for all remaining kWh. By accepting service under this rate, the customer agrees to allow the city to install, operate and maintain remote control devices in the equipment to manage system loads imposed by this type of equipment and to provide access as is necessary. Customers under this rate may receive a 3% discount on summer bills if they elect to allow the city to install, operate and maintain load control devices on qualifying cooling equipment. Information on Load Management
