The basics…

September 19, 9:00 a.m. to noon

In this class we will introduce you to the many benefits of energy efficiency and why some energy efficiency projects can have dramatic savings. You will leave this class with a better ability to understand your utility bill and how to use the information to start your energy efficiency program.

Topics: utilities (electricity and demand, natural gas, water, sewer and trash), understanding your utility bill, how and where to retrieve historical data, rate information

Biggest energy users…

September 26, 9:00 a.m. to noon

Become more familiar with the important characteristics of major energy using equipment in your facility: lighting, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and hot water systems. By applying the latest energy efficiency technologies, you can determine the highest saving opportunities.

Topics: Top energy users - how do they work, how much energy do they use, new energy efficient units, improvements with the highest pay backs.

Your game plan…

October 3, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (includes lunch)

This class will discuss how you can make an energy efficiency initiative happen at your facility. Strategies, techniques, and resources for developing your own energy efficiency program will be covered.

Topics: Defining objectives, identifying assets and liabilities, project and engineering resources, proposal design and financing options.
