The mission of the Office of Neighborhood Services is to improve the quality of life for Columbia’s residents through fairly and swiftly enforcing city codes related to residential life and build a sense of community by offering valuable volunteer opportunities, providing resources for neighborhood leaders to solve issues independently and managing donations to support our community.
The Office of Neighborhood Services has two resource programs available to be used by recognized neighborhood associations:
Resource Library: ONS has several books focused on neighborhood and leadership development available for recognized neighborhood associations to borrow.
Tool Library: A limited number of yard tools are available for recognized neighborhood associations to borrow for community landscaping and gardening projects. Examples of tools available include wheel barrows, shovels, rakes, loppers and hand saws.
To arrange for the use of these books or tools, please contact Bill Cantin with the Office of Neighborhood Services at (573) 874-7248 or email@example.com.
