Description:

Introduction to track and field for boys and girls, sponsored by Parks and Recreation. Free event though registration is required. For ages 9-14 (birth certificate or baptismal record required), local winners will advance to the State meet in Jefferson City and possibly advance nationally to Hershey, Pennsylvania. 
Register at the Parks and Recreation office (#1 South 7th), the ARC (1701 W. Ash) or the Armory Sports Center (701 E. Ash).

Featuring work of participants of the Adapted Community Recreation program at Paquin Tower. Paintings and ceramics will be available for viewing and purchase. Admission is free.

Official skills competition of Major League Baseball, sponsored by Parks and Recreation. Free competition for boys and girls involving throwing, hitting and baserunning skills.

Description:

Join us for a "reel" fun morning at the Fishing Derby at Philips Lake! Registration required to participate and be eligible for prizes. Pre-register at Columbia Parks and Recreation, 1 South 7th St or the ARC, 1701 W. Ash, or register before the event between 9-9:30 am. 

Bring your own pole and bait, or some will be on hand. Age categories 10 & under and 11 & up - fun for the whole family! Ages 16-64 must present valid Missouri Fishing License.
