Join the City of Columbia's TreeKeepers and Parks & Recreation staff at the ARC Parking Lot, 1701 W. Ash for the annual Arbor Day Tree Give Away. Individuals may receive two trees of different species including: Northern Red Oak, Pecan, Bald Cypress, Flowering Dogwood, Eastern Redbud, Blackhaw Viburnum, River Birch, Blackgum. The giveaway starts at 8 a.m. and continues until all trees are given away.
Please recycle your old paint, chemicals, batteries, household cleaners and other hazardous waste properly. Do not place them in the storm drains or in your trash. (Please note new hours of operation for 2011, 8AM to Noon)
The Pre-Council Meeting generally starts at 6:00 p.m.

Registration is required for this Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Parks and Recreation and Mizzou's Parks and Recreation students. Cost is $7 per child, bring your flashlights and baskets. Prizes will be awarded.
Times vary by age:
Ages 3-5: 7:30-9 pm
Ages 6-7: 7:45-9 pm
Ages 8-10: 8-9 pm
Call 874-7460 to register by April 8.
