Section 2-470 Plans, specifications and descriptions to be kept by purchasing agent.
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 018178 on 07/19/2004, Section 2-470 read as follows.
When calling for bids as provided in sections 2-466 or 2-467
the head of the purchasing
division shall keep on file in his office the plans, specifications or description of the article,
service or thing to be purchased, and such plans, specifications or description shall be available
for inspection by all parties desiring to bid and the general public. Whenever copies of plans or
specifications are taken from the office of the head of the purchasing division by prospective
bidders, the head of the purchasing division may require a deposit for the return thereof, not to
exceed the reasonable cost of preparing same.
