107200 - Introduction to Paddle Boarding
Join us as we explore one of the biggest fitness trends at the Introduction to Paddle Boarding with certified instruction from Shane Perrin with Supstlouis. Shane is an accomplished, ultra-distance stand paddler who has won awards in paddling globally. We are pleased to welcome Shane and his staff to Columbia to give us a look into this rapidly growing sport. There are 3 different demo classes being offered, each with room for 10 participants and lasting approximately 2 hours. All necessary equipment will be provided. Register early as we expect these classes to fill quickly!
107231 - Cardio/Strength Training
This one hour class is designed to instruct members on how to utilize the Cardio/Strength Training Zone equipment. Certified staff will instruct proper techniques for using equipment as well as muscle groups being utilized. Training goals, safety, and exercise tips will also be available. Minimum age requirement for 2nd floor equipment (excluding track) is 14 years of age. No Exceptions.

Also, known as the "Poor Man's Massage". Learn how to spot your "trigger points: and relieve unwanted pain through techniques therapists have used for years.
107932 - BYOBW- Track or Treat
Bring Your Own Big Wheel - Riders can bring their fanciest Big Wheel or Tricycle and cruise the ARC Track. Prizes and awards will be given to all riders and mileage recorded. Don't forget your costume and camera! Big Wheels and tricycles must be clean and approved by event staff. Believe it or not, some riders have ridden as much as 5 miles. Absolutely no bicycles.
307300 - Bear Creek Run
Join us for the 2nd annual Bear Creek Run Half Marathon on the scenic Bear Creek Trail. This 13.1 mile run/walk will start and finish at Albert-Oakland Park and take participants to Columbia's Cosmo Park and back. This event will take place on mostly gravel trail and will require no major intersection crossing. Aid Stations will be in place every mile to mile and a half along the well-marked course, in addition to lots of volunteer support. New and experienced runners and walkers are encouraged to enjoy this fall morning on the Bear Creek Trail. Registration includes race timing, finisher item and race shirt.
Participants who registered prior to September 18 will receive a t-shirt in their requested size. Participants who registered after September 18 will receive a t-shirt based on size availability.
